Mystery Behind Scarlett’s AIDS Tests
by Dr. Ava Cadell

Sizzling Scarlett Johansson’s revelation that she’s regularly tested for HIV and sexually transmitted diseases has some experts wondering why.

The 21-year old actress, who is dating Black Dahlia co-star Josh Hartnett, raised eyebrows when she said in an interview, “I get tested for HIV twice a year. One has to be socially aware.”

Dr. Ava Cadell, a world-renowned sex and relationship expert from Los Angeles tells GLOBE that she’s worried and concerned about the blond beauty’s statement.

“It tells me that although she is in a steady relationship, she may be having sex with other partners. Or she suspects her significant other may be straying so she is taking responsibility for her health by being testes for HIV so frequently.

“It would be better if she practiced safe sex until she and her partner are absolutely sure they will maintain a monogamous relationship.”

But Scarlett says, “There seems to be a mistaken belief out there that I am sexually available somehow. But when I am in a relationship, I’m in a relationship. I work really hard to make it work in a monogamous way.”
